Sasson shines in NHL Debut

by Dan Garneau

Huge congratulations to EHPC Alumni Max Sasson for making his NHL debut with the Vancouver Canucks and getting an assist in his debut.  Sasson attended EHPC in the summer of 2017 before he would play for the Brookings Blizzard of the North American Hockey League.  Max is now the second alumni to make his NHL debut in the past 9 months.  Not drafted to the OHL or NHL Max never gave up and is a true inspiration to all hockey players that if you put the work in and don't give up you have a chance to still make it.  Originally committed to the University of Maine he was decomitted and than ended up going to Western Michigan where he would leave early to sign with the Vancouver Canucks.  Max has been playing in the American Hockey League for their farm team Abbotsford Canucks where he is currently tied for first on the team in scoring.  Congratulations to Max and your family for making your dream a reality and never giving up!
