ALUMNI NEWS!! Blair Scott signs with hometown Kitchener Rangers

by Dan Garneau

It was announced today that 2005 born Dman Blair Scott was traded from the Soo Greyhounds to the Kitchener Rangers where Blair grew up playing his minor hockey.  Scott was originally a 5th round draft pick of the Greyhounds back in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection draft.  This year Blair was playing for the Ayr Centennials Jr B Hockey Club in the GOJHL.  In 16 games this year Scott has scored 6 goals and 5 assists for 11 points.  August Blair played for the Hulkamaniac's where he had 3 assists in 4 games.  Scott is now the 4th Dman to sign major junior so far from this past EHPC in August.  Congratulations and best of luck in Kitchener.  Scott will make his debut tomorrow against Erie and will be wearing number 7.  Photo courtesy of the Kitchener Rangers website.
