ALUMNI UPDATE: Matthew Rempe signs with the New York Rangers

  It is a true pleasure to be able to announce the very first EHPC alumni NHL signing.  Big 6 foot 9 Centre from Calgary,Alberta  who has spent the last 3 seasons with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League has signed his entry level contract with the New York Rangers.  Rempe was a walk on non drafted player that went to a tryout with the Seattle Thunderbirds after being passed over 2 years in a row in the WHL Bantam draft.  

 Last season Matthew was able to attend his first development camp with the Rangers where he was able to play in some pre season  games with the Rangers.  After Matthew was released from the Rangers he would go back to his Junior club Seattle Thunderbirds.  Congratulations to Matthew and his family and good luck with the Rangers organization!
